I’m writing this entry in August 2026. Shortly after arriving in Yport(that was 15 April 2026) my laptop died on me and I fell so far behind with the blog that I let it go. With Tour 13 lasting almost 3 months, it would have been too much to bring it up to date, even if I could have remembered all that we experienced over the ensuing weeks. Having said that, I want some kind of record of Tour 13 and I have therefore decided to make a short entry for most of the days when we were out on Tour 13 using photos and comments that I posted on Facebook during our travels. Fortunately, I posted something most every day.
“Vanya had a bad night (psoriatic arthritis) and had to rest up today and so, looking to take advantage of the continuing fine weather, I set off alone along the coast to the small village of Doelan. The views were/are magnificent… (the beaches are not unlike those in Galicia)…and, after arriving in Doelan, I enjoyed a great lunch sitting outside the ‘Le Rive Gauche’ restaurant…”
We’ll be trying Pont-Aven in the morning…
