I’m writing this entry in August 2026. Shortly after arriving in Fougeres (that was 16 April 2026) my laptop died on me and I fell so far behind with the blog that I let it go. With Tour 13 lasting almost 3 months, it would have been too much to try and bring it up to date even if I could have remembered all that we experienced over the ensuing weeks. Having said that, I want some kind of record of Tour 13 and I have therefore decided to make a short entry for most of the days when we were out on Tour 13 using photos and comments that I posted on Facebook during our travels. Fortunately, I posted something most every day.
So, here are a few of the photos (with comment where appropriate) of our visit to Erquy:-
“Erquy is just a short walk along Cotes d’Armor from Pleneuf Val Andre, where we ara parked up for a couple of days. It’s a small fishing town of just 4,000 people and yet it is considered to be the scallop capital of France (no prizes for guessing what we are eating tonight). In L’Eglise Saint Pierre et Saint Paul it also has one of the most enchanting churches in the department…”
