I’m writing this entry during August 2026. I lost all use of my laptop shortly after arriving in Fougeres (that was 16 April 2026) and I fell so far behind with the blog that I let it go. The fact is that, with Tour 13 lasting the best part of 3 months, it would have been too much of a chore to try and bring it up to date even if I could have remembered all that we experienced over the ensuing weeks. Having said that, a similar thing happened early in Tour 2 and I subsequently regretted not making even a short note of where we went and/or what we got up to. That being so, albeit late in the day, I have decided to make a short entry for most of the days when we were out on Tour 13 using photos and comments that I posted on Facebook during our travels. Fortunately, I posted something on Facebook most days and the following is therefore a fairly accurate reflection of this our latest tour in the Van.
So, here are a few of the photos of Fougeres with comment (where appropriate) that I made in Facebook:-

“We simply don’t spend enough time in Bretagne although the same can be said of just about anywhere we have visited in France. Spending the night in Fougeres we thought to head out for crepes this evening but a meal in the Van won the day… not to forget a great bottle of Chinon (red)… We’re pretty tired…The crepes can wait”
And on to Pleneuf-Val-Andre via Montauban en Montagne…
