I’m writing this entry in August 2026. Shortly after arriving in Fougeres (that was 16 April 2026) my laptop died on me and I fell so far behind with the blog that I let it go. With Tour 13 lasting almost 3 months, it would have been too much to try and bring it up to date even if I could have remembered all that we experienced over the ensuing weeks. Having said that, I want some kind of record of Tour 13 and I have therefore decided to make a short entry for most of the days when we were out on Tour 13 using photos and comments that I posted on Facebook during our travels. Fortunately, I posted something most every day.
So, here are a few of the photos (with comment where appropriate) of our visit to Pleneuf-Val-Andre:-
“We were heading south until Vanya decided she wanted to visit the coast; not just any part of the Bretagne coast… so here we are in Pleneuf-Val-Andre on the Cotes d’Armor! …… We paused in Montauban en Montagne on the way here and enjoyed the best ever crepes… and now I’m chilling over a beer having walked a few miles of Brittany’s beautiful coastline…”

From Pleneuf Val Andre (PVA) we drove to Le Pouldu in the south of Finistere (more about that later) but; before leaving, we were able to explore a little more of the Cote d’Armor including the nearby Port du Dahouet at the southern edge of PVA and the beautiful little fishing village of Erquy which is a few kilometres to the north.
